On the morning of August 7, YANG Qun, the director of the Women's Leadership Center of Cambridge Judge Business School, paid an visit to our college. Dean WEI Lu met with her accompanied by the Chang Jiang Distinguished Professor WANG Jie and college’s coordinator of International Relations JIANG Panpan. The two sides held talks on the future cooperation and potential exchanges between the College of Media and International Culture and the Cambridge Judge Business School.
Dean WEI Lu expressed warm welcome to Director Yang Qun and introduced some facts of the College of Media and International Culture to her. On the basis of mutual visits, Dean WEI Lu hoped to combine the superior resources of Zhejiang University and Cambridge University to explore and expand the bilateral cooperation in scholar exchanges, student exchanges, joint researches, courses and training, and to find the possibility to build a joint Internet research center further.
Director YANG Qun showed her heartfelt gratitude to Dean WEI Lu for his warm welcome. She gave a detailed introduction to the situations of Cambridge University, Judge Business School and the Women's Leadership Center. She embraced high expectations on the prospects of cooperation between the two parties. The two sides, suggested by Qun Yang, should focus on interdisciplinary researches, giving full play to their respective advantages and strengthen cooperation in the research fields of new media, big data, and aesthetics. Both sides expressed their intention to carry out in-depth cooperation on innovation and entrepreneurship. They all agreed that Zhejiang University and Cambridge University, as important innovation centers, have great potential in leading the innovation and entrepreneurship development in their respective regions.
