Welcome to the College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University, which is one of the oldest and most dynamic media colleges in China.
Founded in 2006, the history of the College can be traced back to the discipline of Chinese Language in the College of Arts and Science at National Chekiang University in 1928. Its Department of Journalism, founded in 1958, is one of the earliest journalism departments in China. Thanks to the leadership of former Deans - Professor Xu Dai and Professor Wu Fei, the College has grown into a leading media education center and enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad. According to the 2019 QS World University Ranking, the College is ranked among the top 150 globally and top 5 on Chinese mainland for Communication and Media Studies.Building on the past success, we will keep our original aspirations in mind and continue to forge ahead into the future. Under the goal of making Zhejiang University a first-class university with first-class disciplines, the College will follow the guideline of “innovation driven, people centered, interdiscipline oriented, and mainstream focused” in our future development.
