Assistant Professor Li Siyue and 12 Ph.D. students from College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University, visited Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University to participate in the Joint Ph.D. Symposium from 18th to 21st November, 2019. Students from both universities gave presentations on topics concerning communication and media studies. Students also visited recording studios and laboratories during the visit.

Professor Charles T. Salmon, Dean of Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University, spoke at the symposium stating that it was the golden age of communication research in hope of the students could seize the opportunity and try their best. He further suggested that College of Media and International Culture and Wee Kim Wee School of Communication should build a stronger partnership and carry out more academic exchanges.
