Editor: Author: Date:2020-12-17 09:34:57 Hits:134

The global communication landscape is becoming unprecedentedly diverse and multidimensional thanks to the revolutionary development of intelligent technology. Cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, and 5G Internet are profoundly transforming the media ecosystem and redefining media circulation, which thereby forces media-information and media-society relations to undergo changes as well. Our society stands and thrives upon a solid foundation of smart media. This foundation is also expanding its domain of information with a comprehensive approach. Thus, it is imperative to observe and take into account the complex interactions among media and communications, society, culture, and political economy, while not forgetting the underlying organization and externality in order to have a better handling of the media in the future.

The conference aims to deepen explorations into recent issues from the perspectives of both the current reality and potential future realities in the smart media era. Topics that will be discussed during the event include:

- What propels the development and implementation of smart media technology?

- What are the potential scenarios and relations that may be established due to smart media?

- What is the momentum behind media revolution?
